OODA: born into the world a child observes the surroundings.

The child develops by orienting its surroundings. It does so by assigning different potentials to folk, kin, and trades (it is a series connection).

The child moves into the decision-making component called adolescence. Using the flux (the same flux a 4GW warrior uses) of a liberal education, it moves the components of its earlier orientation.

The child become an adult by acting on its decisions, which enables it to once again join the world by its own death.

The PISRR movement is the mirror image of the cognitive life cycle of OODA. Another name for a PISRR movement might be regeneration. The Muslim and Christian faiths are mirror images of each other.

I got the Hagar and Ishmael reference, but first I thought of Abraham smashing the idols. The idols, who could not see nor hear nor think, are gone forever. The clan of Ishmael lives on.

Thinking enemies can be destroyed by attacking them until they go away. That rarely works with people.

It is not that Observation represents only potential energy (the child’s images are only in its mind); it is that the body of the child represents the kinetic energy. However, like a fluid in a closed hydraulic system (we are mostly water after all) most of the energy available is potential energy (what is in the child’s mind) and not represented by the weak body (kinetic energy) of the child.

In a hydraulic system composed of pipes, tubing, hoses, and things; the greatest amount of energy is the potential energy stored as electrical force inside the fluid. When adding up the total energy of a system, a very small fraction of the total energy is kinetic. Upon release from the system, say by way of a fire hose, most of that potential energy is released as kinetic energy. When water coming out of a fire hose knocks down a person, the potential energy of the system is converted to kinetic energy by the increase in velocity of the mass of water. The velocity of the water knocks down the person, not by the pressure (potential energy) of the system. Similarly, the Act component is a release, or converting into, of kinetic energy.

The baby’s cry doesn’t represent much kinetic energy (the simple vibration of the voice box, the falling of tears), but the immediate reaction by the adult is caused by converting the potential energy of the cry into kinetic energy of the adult, a true OODA movement.

Christianity did not convert the Romans by an OODA movement, but by a PISRR movement.

This is clearly shown in the words of one of your postings. The movement is from kinetic energy (penetrate) to potential energy (re-harmonization).
