Sufjan Stevens on Austin City Limits
by tdaxp ~ November 11th, 2006
Sean Meade very kindly emailed me full-length videos of Sufjan Stevens playing some of his works on the PBS program Austin City Limits.
- Casmir Pulaski Day
- Jacksonville
- Oh Destroit, Lift Up Your Weary Heart
- The Dress Looks Nice on You
- as well as an Interview
I also found a lower quality recording, apparently from the same event, of The Transfiguration.
Update: The audio of the entire concert is also available.

Hey, the music sounds excellent. I have added the CD's to my Amazon cart. My local PBS channel is rerunning the espisode tonight and my VCR is set.

Purpleslog,
Glad to hear! I think “Illinoise” and “Michigan” both sound best to people with ties to those states. “Seven Swans” and the Christmas album focus more on Christian themes.
The Christmas album, btw, is free. [1] Sean already has it
