It certainly appears that Crystal Mangum shouldn't be free, in any event. If she is legally sane, she's a sexual predator, and should serve a long prison sentence (especially as this is the second such false report she's filed!). If, as the Attorney General implied, she is unable to tell the difference between reality and fantasy, she should be institutionalized.

Crystal Gail Mangum should be prosecuted for making false statements to the police and Mike Nifong, the former DA who prosecuted this case with no corroborative evidence should be disbarred.
Guys, learn the biggest lesson of all: Don't, and I mean DON'T ever get intimate to a woman who is intoxicated, especially if she's someone you don't know.
This woman Mangum has cried “Wolf!” before and the idiot DA was trigger happy. The lawsuits against the state county, DA's office, and Mike Nifong will be brutal and the plaintiff's have PLENTY of evidence. I would not be surprised if the Attorney General's office in North Carolina offers to settle out of court. Each of the three families has had to spend close to $1 million EACH to defend the lacrosse players.
