This weekend we were in Ames for my brother-in-law's graduation [1]... Iowa State's campus is even larger and more majestic, and the town area for students even more comfortable, but unfortunately the snow kept us inside!

A beautiful campus to have to journey on foot from destination to destination. I live too far from my intended college of choice to walk there, but I will take the public bus to avoid paying the extensive parking fees and walk everywhere on campus. I do not think my campus is as nice as this though.

ElamBend,

Nebraska's colors are scarlet & cream, so (in general) the dorms tend to be whiteish while buildings are reddish. The dorms you see are part of the Abel-Sandoz complex [1]

Sean,

Thanks... but LOL! :-)

[1] http://housing.unl.edu/halls/sandoz.shtml
