Short thoughts on the trip so far:

* TSA screeners continue to be fast, efficient, and courteous
* Our united flight from Chicago to Beijing was delayed several hours, but this wasn’t too bad, because
** Our flight to Chicago was delayed because of South Dakota’s weather, so we still made the flight
** The delay gave me time to catch up on work I’d rather not do during vacation anyway
** The United flight crew was very nice to make-up for the slight
* The weather when we finally arrived, evening, was gorgeous. When we got to Lady of tdaxp’s grandparents, kids were out playing, and cheered & opened the gate as we drove through. A very regal introduction.
