I woke up at 6 and walked around campus. I saw a pair of ducks in a parking lot, which was quite the sight. Then blogging: the Nifong post and the Rails adventure. I filled out an application for advanced degree in the administration building, and paid two separate electricity bills (both June’s and the deposit). Heard from South Dakota that a power surge hit our wireless router, so I went to Best Buy to get a replacement (a Linksys WRT54G, the same model as I have here in Lincoln, on the recommendation of Aaron).

Finally, on the recommendation of our lawyer, I called my credit card companies to put Lady of tdaxp on the cards and have them sent to one central address. (Part of proving a “bona fide” relationship — a term which, to anyone who has seen O Brother Where Art Thou, is hilarious).

And right now? Listening to a Stalinist English and ultra-hip reggea renditions of the Anthem of the Soviet Union (conceptual hat-tip to Coming Anarchy)..
