Lind: Buy (Osinga’s) Boyd Book
by tdaxp ~ October 7th, 2007
Read a great review by Bill Lind of a great book by Frans Osinga.
For the OODA article I am writing, Osinga’s book is the most cited source. It’s invaluable in understanding Boydian psychology. Get it. Read it. Learn it.

Gents, Routledge has just released a paperback edition of my book on Boyd's strategic thought. It's available at http://www.routledge.com, enter osinga in the search and you can order it for about $35-40, much better than the ridiculous $130. Hope you like it.

Gents,
Those reviews are very flattering and the price is outrageous indeed. My publisher focusses on libraries and institutions alas but he promised me a cheaper ebook version should be out very soon and perhaps I can convince him to publish a paperback edition so I finally reach my (and Boyd's) prime audience.

Osinga's book was also reviewed in the current issue of Foreign Affairs.

Dude the price on that book is so wrong. I guess that is why we have libraries.

Yeah, I am going to try to get a copy through the library too. It would be different if it was a reference book I would go back to over and over.

I'm adding this to the top of my fall reading list. I'll be interested to read your article when completed. There are implications for summer bridge experiences for incoming college freshmen. Success as function of the speed and accuracy of OODA iterations. So perhaps less about critical thinking than apperception. This would seem especially true in a world where information is expected to double every 72 hours by 2010.
