Lady of tdaxp and I received an “I-797C, Notice of Action” from the Department of Homeland Security (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) today. Our adjustment of status interview will be Friday, March 7, 2008.
I-797C, Notice of Action
While this is all several months later than it could have been (thanks for USCIS bizarrely requesting further evidence when everything had been surprised), several weeks later than it would have been (if our lawyer hadn’t sat on our non-priority case), and my wife will be able to start work half a year later than she would have (if UNL hadn’t reported a nonsensical graduation date), we’re both happy to have an interview date.
Interestingly, trackitt predicted this nearly right on the money — the case with an RFE three days earlier than ours got their notice about two days before us — wow!

I received an I-797C, Notice of Action with finger printing appointment in Jacksonville, Florida but I live in Deltona, Florida. I am closer to Orlando.
How can I change appointment?

Most wquestions had to deal with the bona fides of our relationship (how we met, how we visit family, etc.), but I sensed the most important questions had to deal with the comingling of assets (joint bank account? joint credit cards? joint debt? joint ownership?)
I was a bit worried about this step, as we were both college studies, but it went well

Hi,anyone knows here on what to do if ever you receive I-797C Notice Of Action..and then it states also that me as a beneficiary the Place of Country is Unknown,my fiance already called and corrected it,but we never hear anything from them until now..they never even send to my fiance an RFE.. anybody who knows what to here..please

y does everyone think they filed an i 797 c lol look at the paper it says case type and notice type. i 797 is wat all of uscis notices say. only reciept notice fom an i 751 application to remove conditions of 2 yr pr card allows travel along with expired card. y trackitt? y not uscis.gov or 1800 357 5283?
