Bad weather in both Nebraska and Chicago led to two cancellations for Lady of tdaxp, preventing her from joining her parents in the Windy City today. So we’ll get up early so that she can make the 6:00 AM flight tomorrow morning, which should at least allow them to eat breakfast together!

I wish her luck, but I wouldn't count on the flight going through. They just upped our predicted snow level here and even suggested Thunder-snow for tomorrow morning.

Just as long as I-90 is clear come Friday! We're not driving to SD just to get stuck in the snow….

Yup, her flight was canceled late last night. We booked another flight that goes from Nebraska to Denver to Chicago, allowing Lady of tdaxp to eat a late lunch with her family.
Pretty worried about the local quality of roads (3 cancellations already), so ended up sleeping at the airport. Really unfun.
