The new design. McCain. Obama.

Until Mitt Romney, the John Kerry of the Republican Party, withdraws, the new design stays up.

Or if you’re a Democrat, Vote Obama.

I have to admit that the Obama video creeps me out a little. It's too fawning for one man.
Otherwise, I agree with your sentiments.

biz,
Scarlett Johannson, eh… now the girl who sings at three minutes in…
Jayson,
It's not a Lenten sacrifice — it's part of Mitt Romney's War Against America. From “not wanting to go back to Reagan-Bush” [1] to this new color scheme, Romney has opposed everything good and true exactly 50% of the time.

Uggh…
(Is this some sort of Lenten sacrifice?)

Everytime your eyes bleed, ask yourself: Why is Mitt Romney doing this to America?
February 6th, 2008 at 12:00 am
Gross colors Dan.
I think I'm betting a McCain/Huckabee ticket for the win.
Their campaign slogan could be “F*** you Northerners”
Not sure about the Obama video. Should be about 50% shorter and 75% more Scarlett Johannson
Shouldn't you be getting married or something?

Steve…what is wrong about the colour purple? Grrr…
February 6th, 2008 at 12:00 am
We must all be punished by purplse on black because of the political process?
That's really not very fair Dan.

It's official! [1]
Dan, please spare us the eye pain.

Looks like Romney liked your old template better. It only took one day after you changed it for him to drop out…

Yep, NYkrinDC is right. Check it out:

Now can we have the pastel blues back?

Didn't take long for Romney see the writing on the wall. (Maybe it was in purple too?)
The Obama music video is ridiculous as it perfects political entertainment. MTV was first to seamlessly merge entertainment and advertising [1], and this video just replaces consumerism with a political candidate. If he wins, 16 year-old kids (who have nothing better to do with their lives but worship American celebrities) will actually wish they could vote.

(Prepares to give victory speech [1]).
One blog didn't win today. You won today. America won today. The world won today.
When our party was faced with division and confusion, you stood up. Your rejected red-on-violet flip-floppery, and instead demanded a candidate — and a website — we could read, understand, and enjoy.
Nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices demanding legibility, coherency, and the American Way.
In the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope. And the hopes of a little girl who goes to a public school is the same as the dreams of a little boy who grows up on the streets of LA: Three words that ring in the ears of every person from sea to shining sea:
