We arrived in Lincoln this evening.  Fei called her dad to share the good news.

We learned the bad news.  A few minutes before our interview began, our aunt (Fei’s father’s sister) passed away.  She had been ill for years, fighting harder than I could.

Because this morning’s interview was successful, Fei can travel.  She will leave tomorrow afternoon to attend the funeral.

The only pictures I have of our aunt are from her battle.  Her true image is reflected in our memories.
