You can always tell who your friends are by watching who shows up on moving day.

We didn’t have very much to move, so we began to do the work ourselves. Two friends of Fei (fellow graduate student Chinese) helped us load up the U-Haul, and one of our new neighbors helped me with the heavy lifting in getting the stuff out of the truck and into our apartment.
