Tragedy beyond words

Terrible news:
Dad : Primrose Road
Early yesterday morning, my father died of a massive heart attack. He was healthy and had no pre-existing medical problems.
There is no rhyme or reason or sense to anything in this world. He taught me how to dance the Lindy, play poker, engage almost anyone from anywhere in the world in conversation, and tell stories. The world is a very different place now.
fl has been, and is, a very good friend, for several years.
This is terrible.

fl,
I’m am very sorry for your loss. Feel not sadness but joy, that you’re forchunate enough to have been diverved from such a fine person. Please remember in this time of grieving, that your father still lives on through you. His legacy can and will be seen through your actions of lifting humanity.
Cattle die and kinsmen die,
thyself too soon must die,
but one thing never, I ween, will die,
fair fame of one who has earned.

Dan,
I thank you and “S.D. Mom” for your sympathy (and empathy, I’m sure) during this very difficult time. It means a lot.
