Happy Thanksgiving
by tdaxp ~ November 27th, 2008
Today is a wonderful thanksgiving day. Our extended family was here in South Dakota, and last week my good friend Brendan of I Hate Linux (and now of Redmond, Washington) visited as well. Last year at this time, Eddie of Hidden Unities visited.
It is wonderful to be around family and friends. I am so thankful for that warmth and love.

That was a most memorable gift of hospitality and friendship from you and your family that I remain very grateful for. I am glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope your holiday weekend is excellent.

Thank you very much!
Yesterday was wonderful too, and not just because it saw our Nebraska Cornhuskers trounce the Colorado Buffs[1]!
It really was a day of new connections. My wife’s brother, my wife, one of my best friends, and I were able to connect together, which is the first time that bro and friend had met. And earlier I met two second-cousins and their parents (from my dad’s mom’s side), who are a branch of the family I often heard of but rarely interacted with.
A wonderful day.
