I don’t know what is stranger/funnier, that someone took the time to create a site parodying the corporate communication strategy of Canon, Inc, or that Canon is suing to shut down the blog.
I learned about this example of a strategic lawsuit against pubic participation from Slashdot. The rest Canon guy also blogs. More from Thomas Hawk.

Sadly, unless the aggressor is a big-name company that people commonly deal with, it’s hard to get sympathy. So, for example, BlockShopper was bullied into changing all of its links for jonesday [1,2]
Likewise, I noticed a lack of assistance or help for myself, when tdaxp was sued.
