I guess I can’t complain then!

I was rather annoyed yesterday when I had to wait more than half an hour in a doctor’s waiting room. At least I’m not in Canada!

The screen shot there just gave me a brilliant idea!
Back during the immigration debates of a couple of years ago, some citizens were asking the Q of how they could be re-classified as illegal aliens to get some of the extra tax benefits that were being considered as part of the bill…
Perhaps we need to see a movement in Canada to re-classify Canadian citizens as animals so that local vets can treat them faster and legally… though somehow I suspect not many Canadian’s need to be checked out for rabies, distemper, heartworm, bloat or parvovirus.

Indeed. Imagine the goat f—ing contest healthcare would devolve into in this country which maintains a bit less than ten times the population of Canada.
If only effective leadership was measured on an incremental scale of coolness (we could call the increments “Fonzies”) Obama, who’s at about 9 fonzies on the scale of 10 (damn the Russians for their fonzie stealing, lukewarm reception) would be sailing America into the tropical, fruitful waters of utopia.

Brendan should be twittering — it would be easier to give him proper credit then
So far, Obama’s plan is better than what the Clintons were proposing. Hopefully he learned lessons from that. Too bad Daschle didn’t get in. I am consistently impressed by what he writes on health care.

Meh, Twitter? Been there, done that, gave code away, moved on.
