Huskers defeat Oklahoma, 10-3

It was a defensive game, and our defense was amazing.
Read the Corn Nation game thread, and celebrate the triumph of Nebraska over the Sooners.
I haven’t enjoyed watching Oklahoma lose this much since the Boise State Fiesta Bowl.
I haven’t enjoyed watching the Huskers win this much since the Clemson Gator Bowl.

Congrats to your defense, which had the best performance of any unit this year in my humble opinion (I used to think it would be V-Tech after what they did to Miami earlier, but Miami has struggled mightily elsewhere since).
May I mention Navy has saved a BCS slot for a “great” team to get in instead of the under-achieving Irish, whose defense didn’t seem to prepare well for a Navy offense that intended to make up for its failures last year.

Many thanks!
I read this morning that our offense had the ball almost as much as the Sooners’ offense did. I would have liked more, but they did what they had to do: keep our defense rested and ready. It was an amazing game.
I, and all other Americans, cheered with joy upon learning of Navy’s defeat of Notre Dame. Huzzah!
