The Obama DOJ continues to crack down on an industry which is a vital part of preventing rape. My assumption why is that Obama (like many other supports of big government) is a puritan who enjoys telling people what to do.
Really barbaric and “Gappish.” Half Sigma has the stories.
“Woman Accused of Crying Rape is Jailed, This Is London, 3 November 2006, http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23373184-details/Woman+accused+of+crying+rape+is+jailed/article.do.
Back in September I reported that Sally Henderson faced a “lengthy” prison term for falsely accusing a man of rape. Sally Henderson is a sexual predator who men and their families must be protected from. Sadly, a sentencing judge seemed to disagree:
A woman was jailed today for making false rape allegations against her ex-husband.
Sally Henderson, 40, from Woodmancote, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, was jailed for one year after claiming she had been the subject of a string of sex attacks.
Mature student Henderson was found guilty of perverting the course of justice following a week-long trial at Gloucester Crown Court in September.
Additionally, it is my understanding that Sally Henderson will not have to register in an sex offender or sexual predator database.
Still, 365 days is considerably longer than fugitive-from-justice Elisabet Sunde spent behind bars.
“Ex-wife who made false rape claims faces prison,” by Richard Savill, Telegraph, 30 September 2006, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=QQCRTELZSKFN1QFIQMGSFGGAVCBQWIV0?xml=/news/2006/09/30/nrape30.xml (from Mangan’s).
A woman who falsely cried rape against her former husband was facing jail yesterday after being convicted of perverting the course of justice.
The judge told Henderson she had “forced the two men to appear in a public court, face complete strangers and give evidence and be cross-examined about painful, embarrassing and intimate details”.
Mr Cooke told the court: “It was quite shocking to have three or four police officers arrest you, manhandle you and take you away for something you’ve never done.”
Adjourning sentence for reports, the judge warned Henderson, the mother of a daughter of 16 and a 20-year-old son, a soldier, that she could face a lengthy jail term.
Meanwhile, Elisabet Sunde, a European sexual predator who victimized in America, remains free…

A man who says his former lover deceived him by getting pregnant using semen obtained through oral sex can sue for emotional distress but not theft, an appeals court has ruled.
Dr. Richard O. Phillips accuses Dr. Sharon Irons of a “calculated, profound personal betrayal” six years ago, but she says they had the baby through sexual intercourse.
The Illinois Appeals Court said Wednesday that Phillips can press a claim for emotional distress after learning Irons had used his sperm to have a baby, but agreed that however the baby was conceived, Irons didn’t steal the sperm.
“She asserts that when plaintiff ‘delivered’ his sperm, it was a gift,” the decision said. “There was no agreement that the original deposit would be returned upon request.”
Irons, who practices internal medicine in suburban Olympia Fields, said in a telephone interview Thursday that Phillips knew she was still married during their affair, and also knew she was pregnant with his child.
Phillips then sued Irons, claiming her actions caused him nausea and headaches and robbed him of sleep and his appetite. He is haunted by “feelings of being trapped in a nightmare,” court papers state.
The Illinois Appellate Court still has no info on the case at its site.
She seems to be involved in an HIV test kit, but other than that nothing else is publicly available at this time.
