Sexual Predator Convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter

Of course, this is better than merely letting the predator go free, but the charge implies a lack of intent, that the killing did not take place during the commission of a felony, and that it was not a crime of a sexual nature.

Cry of Rape Lands Cheating Wife in Jail – AOL News
FORT WORTH, Texas (May 3) – A Texas woman who caused her lover’s shooting death by falsely crying rape was convicted Friday of involuntary manslaughter.

Tracy Denise Roberson, 37, cried a bit when the verdict was announced. The punishment phase was set for Monday, and she faces two to 20 years in prison.

(Thanks to Adam of The Metropolis Times for emailing me this news.)

This blog has previously discussed sexual predators who never served a day, served only one day, and served only 365 days.

Until sexual predators face long prison sentences and are placed on a list so that locals can avoid contact with them once they are released, the justice system is mutely encouraging their behavior. Too bad.

Convicted sex predator to serve one day in jail

Mike Nifong, a convicted sexual predator (or whatever else you would describe a man who used his government office to organize a kidnapping ring against innocent late-adolescents on sexual grounds) has been sentenced to one day in jail:

From the day he took over the Duke lacrosse rape case, Durham County District Attorney Mike Nifong charged forward with a strident determination that the guilty would end up in jail. Ultimately, the since-disgraced former prosecutor only succeeded at putting himself behind bars.

Nifong was sentenced Friday to a single day in jail, having been held in criminal contempt of court for lying to a judge during his pursuit of rape charges against the three falsely accused lacrosse players….

It was the latest in a line of punishments for a broken man who once confidently trumpeted to anyone within earshot that a woman hired to perform as a stripper at a March 2006 lacrosse team party had been raped.

While certainly it’s good that Mr. Nifong will serve a day in jail (less than a former history teacher of mine served for having the same name and ethnicity as a convict, because he was picked up on Saturday and office staff who could realize the mistake did not come in until Monday) and change careers (a “punishment” a globalized economy inflicts on thousands of Americans every year), the Mike Nifong/Crystal Gail Mangum conspiracy that criminals with just the right mix of race and status (a white male prosecutor, a black female accuser) who work together are essentially above the law.

Too bad.

The Horrors and heroes of the Mike Nifong / Crystal Gang Mangum Hoax

The story is well known: Crystal Gail Mangum — a prostitute and stripper who had previously falsely accused innocents of rape — once again accused youths of rape. Michael Byron Nifong, the corrupt prosecutor of Durham County, North Carolina — acted on those charges, in spite of Mangum’s unreliably testimony and increasingly strong contradictory evidence.

Mike Nifong is now no longer a lawyer and no longer a prosecutor. His victims will be suing him, so he may lose his pension. The State may further prosecute him, so he may lose his liberty.

Criminals

It’s easy to feel sorry for him, but it’s important to remember how close he came to getting away with his evil. At worst, youths would have spent decades in prison, and become the victims of sadistic guards and fellow inmates who are real rapists. At best Nifong would drop the charges while still slandering the youths (read Gerald Bard Tjoflat’s words for more).

The State Bar voted to investigate him by only one vote.

Clearly, the actions of the mainstream media were part of the horror. By referring to Crystal Gail with positively charged words as a “working mother” and “college student,” they were complicit in covering up her past crimes and forming the Mike Nifong hoax echo chamber.

However, there were heroes too. Dilby.com‘s research was a great effort to break the echo chamber and let the truth — that Crystal Gail Mangum is a liar and Michael Byron Nifong is a corrupt prosecutor — be known.

If Dilby‘s work helped to shift just one vote of the NC State Bar — which is quite possible — then Dibly.com is a hero. For even the innocent athletes who fought back had little choice. But Dilby risked his reputation so that the truth could be known.

Thoughts on Mike Nifong’s Disbarment (and why he should be executed)

Mike Nifong, the prosecutor who falsely charged undergraduate students at Duke University with rape in order to help his re-election campaign, was disbarred this afternoon. He had already resigned, from the witness stand, yesterday.

I am happy this much has been done, but generally saddened by what has not and will not be done.

  • I regret that Mike Nifong will not be imprisoned for his crimes.
  • I regret that Crystal Gale Mangum, Nifong’s co-conspirator, will not be charged.
  • I regret that Jesse Jackson, who offered to pay Crystal Gale’s bills even if she was lying, will not be charged.
  • I regret that the above three thugs will not be prosecuted as sexual predators and be listed as such, for the sadistic way they used the sex act to terrorize youths.

For that matter, I regret that Mike Nifong will not be executed by the State of North Carolina.

Capital punishment is both a harsh and a severe punishment. It justly reflects society’s verdicts that some crimes are so harsh they can never be undone or forgotten, while it humanely avoids caging persons like dogs for decade upon decade. It reduces crime, saving innocent lives for every guilty life taken.

Some new core states, like China, execute corrupt officials who pervert justice for their own ends. Thus reduces corruption and increases public trust in government. However, Mike Nifong’s nightmarish rule as prosectur shows (as if there were any doubt) that terrible corruption is not limited to places “over there,” but exists here in America, as well.

It’s been said that “the new Core sets the new rules:” in other words, the days of Europe influencing foreign laws are ending while the days of successful, developing countries influencing the world has started. Let’s hope this is the case. Let’s hope that in the future, criminals like Mike Nifong can get the justice they deserve.

Sexual Predator Sally Henderson To Serve Only 365 Days

Woman Accused of Crying Rape is Jailed, This Is London, 3 November 2006, http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23373184-details/Woman+accused+of+crying+rape+is+jailed/article.do.

Back in September I reported that Sally Henderson faced a “lengthy” prison term for falsely accusing a man of rape. Sally Henderson is a sexual predator who men and their families must be protected from. Sadly, a sentencing judge seemed to disagree:

A woman was jailed today for making false rape allegations against her ex-husband.

Sally Henderson, 40, from Woodmancote, near Cirencester, Gloucestershire, was jailed for one year after claiming she had been the subject of a string of sex attacks.

Mature student Henderson was found guilty of perverting the course of justice following a week-long trial at Gloucester Crown Court in September.

Additionally, it is my understanding that Sally Henderson will not have to register in an sex offender or sexual predator database.

Still, 365 days is considerably longer than fugitive-from-justice Elisabet Sunde spent behind bars.

Sexual Predator Faces Prison

Ex-wife who made false rape claims faces prison,” by Richard Savill, Telegraph, 30 September 2006, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml;jsessionid=QQCRTELZSKFN1QFIQMGSFGGAVCBQWIV0?xml=/news/2006/09/30/nrape30.xml (from Mangan’s).

A woman who falsely cried rape against her former husband was facing jail yesterday after being convicted of perverting the course of justice.

The judge told Henderson she had “forced the two men to appear in a public court, face complete strangers and give evidence and be cross-examined about painful, embarrassing and intimate details”.

Mr Cooke told the court: “It was quite shocking to have three or four police officers arrest you, manhandle you and take you away for something you’ve never done.”

Adjourning sentence for reports, the judge warned Henderson, the mother of a daughter of 16 and a 20-year-old son, a soldier, that she could face a lengthy jail term.

Meanwhile, Elisabet Sunde, a European sexual predator who victimized in America, remains free…

California Empowers Victims To Fight Back Against Sexual Crime

Dancer’s Suit Puts Corrupt Lawyers on Their Toes,” by Wendy McElroy, FoxNews, 1 August 2006, http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,206615,00.html (courtesy Brendan of I Hate Linux).

Early experiences have made me interested in sexual predators. I have been able to see more sides of this phenomenon than many people. Thus I have written on pedophilia on this blog, as well as rapists like Elisabet Sunde and convicted criminals like Crystal Gale Mangum.

Some news is bad. Other news, like this, is good:

What would you do if a lawyer threatened, “Give me a million dollars or my client and I will publicly brand you as a rapist and destroy your life?”

On July 27, the California Supreme Court expanded the range of choices possible to one man who was presented with that threat.

The dance phenomenon Michael Flatley of Riverdance fame can proceed not only with a lawsuit for defamation against his accuser but also with one for extortion against her lawyer.

The very fact that the attorney faces possible civil liability may impact how aggressively attorneys proceed in lawsuits that allege sexual misconduct. A common reason for settling such suits is fear of publicity.

Flatley’s lawyers contend that the drama started when their client achieved wealth and renown as the creator and a lead dancer of the theatrical show Riverdance. At that point, he became a celebrity target.

In October 2002, Flatley and his accuser Tyna Marie Robertson had a sexual encounter in a Las Vegas hotel. Twenty-five days later, she called Nevada from Illinois to report a rape.

While the decision is limited to the State of California, it is heartening to know that one state now allows victims to go after the accomplices and conspirators of sexual predators. Because, according to the facts of this case, that Tyna Marie Robertson is a sexual predator. Rape-blackmail is nothing less than sexual assault, and Michael Flatley is a great man for fighting back.

Crystal Gail Mangum and the Need for Online Sexual Predator Databases

Imagine a sexual predator attacks a victim. Then steals a car. Then drives under the influence. Then attempts to flee from police. Then attacks a police officer with a deadly weapon. Imagine that predator was held with a $75,000 bail.

Then imagine that sexual predator was only charged with misdemeanors.

Then imagine, years later, new victims accuse the predator of a sexual assault. And imagine if they had no knowledge before hand of the predator’s history.

Wouldn’t it be nice to know about these people before you move next door to them? Or send your child to work for them? Or entrust anything to them?

As previously reported on Brain Terminal, Dilby, Free Republic, Hugo Schwyzer, Redmen, Stand Your Ground, and WRAL (a local CBS and CNN affiliate), the name of the woman who accused the Duke Lacrosse team members of rape is Crystal Gail Mangum.

Ultimately, we have no way of knowing whether or not Crystal is telling the truth in her recent allegations. Though she is a cuckoldress and a criminal, it is true that cuckoldresses and criminals can find their own rights violated. In America, we have a good if somewhat political criminal justice system, and we can hope that justice eventually is served.

Nonetheless, with a record like this:

  • SPEEDING ELUDE ARREST OR/ATTEM (PRINCIPAL)
  • ASSAULTTHR AGNST GOVERNMNT (PRINCIPAL)
  • DWI LEVEL 3 (PRINCIPAL)
  • LARCENY (PRINCIPAL)

(Courtesy of North Carolina Department of Correction Public Access Information System)

A day’s events summarized by WRAL (CBS/CNN) as:

The severity of the allegations raises questions about each individual involved in the events that transpired on March 13 and March 14, including the alleged victim.

New information about the victim has been divulged, concerning charges arising from an incident that occurred several years ago. According to a 2002 police report, the woman, currently a 27-year-old student at North Carolina Central University, gave a taxi driver a lap dance at a Durham strip club. Subsequently, according to the report, she stole the man’s car and led deputies on a high-speed chase that ended in Wake County.

Apparently, the deputy thought the chase was over when the woman turned down a dead-end road near Brier Creek, but instead she tried to run over him, according to the police report.

Additional information notes that her blood-alcohol level registered at more than twice the legal limit.

Why did her employer, Bunnyhole Entertainment, entrust her with her position? Why were her clients not informed of her past?

We would want the same for teachers, for police officers — even for politicians. So why not here? Why not now?

This sad affair could have been avoided if sexually-oriented criminals, like and , were flagged in easily searchable online public databases.

But they’re not. Pity.

Elisabet Sunde: Sexual Predator

Elizabeth Sunde? Elisabeth Sunde? Elisabet Sunde?

The minor details of the case keep changing. Is her name ? , as the Orange County Clerk of Courts maintains? Perhaps ?

elizabeth_sunde_face
“Elizabeth Sunde”

Is her age 19? 26?

Whatever it is, she deserves twenty years in prison, and she’ll probably get a fine.

elizabeth_sunde_md
Elizabeth Sunde, 26 (09.26.86), 8037 Gables Commons Drive #127, told investigators that she was approached by five or six “French men” in her apartment…

First, what we do know about her. She was born on September 26, 1986. She’s 5 foot 4 and 140 pounds. Her address was:

Elisabet Sunde
8037 Gables Commons Drive #127
The Commons
Orlando, FL 32821

8037_gabbles_commons_drive

And she used switchboard, (407) 560-2280, for incoming calls.

She was booked on March 3rd, 2006, and currently resides in cell B-FD-4. Her address at Orange County Incarcerationshas been

Elisabet Sunde
06009224 B-FD-4
P.O. Box 4970
Orlando, FL 32802-4970

Sickeningly, if I’m reading her inmate record, correctly, she can be out with only $500 bond.

She’s a slut. That’s clear. She had sex with four men. From the videotaped evidence she enjoyed it.

Much, much worse (Elisabet’s private life, after all, is her own) is that she cried rape. Some people believed her. Fortunately, skepticism and video-taped evidence won the day.

For attempting to ruin the lives of several young men, almost nothing will happen.

The most horrible part is the lack of punishment she’s facing. If we are to believe the Orlando Sentinel‘s account, she’s been charged with of breaking Florida State Statue 837.05(1)

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), whoever knowingly gives false information to any law enforcement officer concerning the alleged commission of any crime, commits a misdemeanor of the first degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

And Florida State Statute 837.06

False official statements.–Whoever knowingly makes a false statement in writing with the intent to mislead a public servant in the performance of his or her official duty shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.

Misdemeanors. She may get more from getting arrested while carrying marijuana.

A fellow blogger makes a good point:

Women who make false charges of rape should face the same harsh penalties as a man accused of rape, and she should have to register as a sex offender. She should also have to inform every man she dates or has sexual relations with that she has made a false charge of rape in the past; if she fails to do so it would mean a mandatory life sentence without parole.

Elisabet Sunde is a sexual predator. The law should treat her like one.

Just like Sharon Irons should be.

Pope Benedict XVI on Priest Sex Abuse

Meditations on the Way of the Cross,” by Pope Benedict XVI (nee Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger), The Holy See, 24 March 2005, http://www.catholic.org/cathcom/international_story.php?id=13446.

Your Turn,” by Andrew Sullivan, The Daily Dish, 19 April 2005, http://www.andrewsullivan.com/index.php?dish_inc=archives/2005_04_17_dish_archive.html#111393477020481863.

Andrew Sullivan posts an email condemnign the Vatican for not choosing someone who will go after pedophiles

As a fellow Catholic with a questioning brain and a personal conscience, your blog was my only comfort this morning as I absorbed the impact of Ratzinger’s election. This was a “circle the wagons” decision. The sex abuse crisis was a wake-up call that the church urgently needs to grow and change- the selection of Ratzinger is a signal that the Vatican still believes they can solve all problems with raw power (theirs) and blind obedience (ours). I never, never thought I would say this, but I really wonder if I can be a Catholic three years from now.

Good thing never talked on the subject… you know, at the Vatican’s Good Friday Mass last month

What can the third fall of Jesus under the Cross say to us? We have considered the fall of man in general, and the falling of many Christians away from Christ and into a godless secularism. Should we not also think of how much Christ suffers in his own Church? How often is the holy sacrament of his Presence abused, how often must he enter empty and evil hearts! How often do we celebrate only ourselves, without even realizing that he is there! How often is his Word twisted and misused! What little faith is present behind so many theories, so many empty words! How much filth there is in the Church, and even among those who, in the priesthood, ought to belong entirely to him! How much pride, how much self-complacency! What little respect we pay to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, where he waits for us, ready to raise us up whenever we fall! All this is present in his Passion. His betrayal by his disciples, their unworthy reception of his Body and Blood, is certainly the greatest suffering endured by the Redeemer; it pierces his heart. We can only call to him from the depths of our hearts: Kyrie eleison — Lord, save us (cf. Matthew 8: 25).
